ZADAR SUNSET RUN - 5 K & 10 K

DATE: 10.05.2019

START: 18:30 H (warming up at 18:00 h)

LOCATION: GREETING TO THE SUN

Pick up of the start number and start packet is possible with the presentation of a personal document. Pick up of the start number for another person is only possible by presenting a person's personal document. The pick up of the starter packages for both races is at INFO POINT in the Café bar Lovre, People's Square 1, 23000 Zadar. Opening hours of Info point is: 09.05. from 14:00-20:00/10.05. from 08:00-20:00 h. Pick up of the start numbers outside of working hours is not possible.

Starting package Content: Start number, ZOF t-shirt, wardrobe storage bags, bottle of beverage, gift vouchers with discounts of sponsors, voucher for drink in GUMA bar.

THE START NUMBER FOR ALL RACES MUST BE VISIBLE ALL THE TIME DURING THE RACE.

THE START NUMBER MUST BE ON THE FRONT SIDE OF THE T-SHIRT OR THE RUNNERS ' PANTS.

The finish line of both races is in the same place as the start.

Competitors at the 5 K race do a turn at 2.5 K at Cafe Bar Marex (visible mark) and return by the same route back, while competitors at the 10 K race are making a turn on Puntamika and returning by the same route back. After entering the finish it is not allowed to linger in the finish zone!

The refreshments for participants are insured at 2.5 K, 5 K and after the finish line.

Timing: All runners get a starting number. The runner's number is read at the START and on the FINISH. The results will be published on the organizers ' pages.

Wardrobe: A wardrobe for storing personal belongings for the duration of the race is ensured in the immediate vicinity of the start/finish, in a parked vehicle. Storage is possible only in the bag which is part of the starter package and upon presenting the starting number. The wardrobe is open from 17:00 to 21:00. For unclaimed items in the specified time, it is necessary to contact the organizer's representative at the contact number + 385 98 220 970.

Public TOILET is located 300 m from the start/finish line at the address Obala Kralja Petra Krešimira IV.

Parking

Competitors  who come from outside Zadar, please plan your arrival to Zadar as early as possible, or latest until Friday at 15:00 H. Part of the traffic in the city center closes for the purpose of the race from 18:00 H to 20:00 H. When you arrive in Zadar, you can park your vehicle on Parking lot on Ravnice, about 1.2 km from the race start/finish.

ZADAR MTB CROSS COUNTRY RACE 31 km 

DATE: May 11th, 2019.

START: 10:30 am

LOCATION: KRALJEVSKI VINOGRADI, PETRČANE

Picking up the starting numbers and starting packages is possible only with ID. Picking up other person's  starting number and starting package is possible only with that person's ID. Pick up location is INFO POINT at caffe bar Lovre, Narodni trg 1, Zadar. Info point working hours: May 9th 2 pm – 8 pm, May 10th 8 am – 8 pm. Pick up of the starting numbers is possible only during working hours.

Starting package contains: starting number, ZOF T-shirt, bag for personal belongings, bottle of drink, sponsors' vouchers, voucher for the Guma bar.

STARTING NUMBER MUST BE VISIBLE ALL THE TIME DURING THE RACE.

STARTING NUMBER MUST BE ATTACHED ON THE FRONT SIDE OF THE BICYCLE.

FINISH: TRG SV. JURJA, VIR.

Contestants must follow marks on the route and volunteers' directions. It is not allowed to stay in the finish line after finishing the race.

Contestants will get a bottle of water (0,5 L) after 14 km of the race and lunch and drink after the finish.

Timing: every contestant gets a starting number. Time is measured at START and again at the FINISH. Organizer will publish the web site where official  results of the race can be found.

Luggage store is provided near the Start / Finish in the parked vehicle. Storage is possible only using the bag which is included in the starting package and with starting number when depositing and collecting personal belongings. Luggage store is open from 9 am to 3 pm. PARKING

Parking is provided at Kraljevski vinogradi, Petrčane.

TRANSFER

Free transfer is organized for contestants and bicycles from Vir to Petrčane and from Vir to Zadar. Signing up for free transfer is mandatory by sending email to organizer at mailto:info@zadaroutdoor.com . Return is around 3 pm.

Clothes and equipment:

  • every contestant must wear helmet all the time during the race – contestant without helmet will be disqualified
  • contestants must provide their own clothes and shoes according to weather conditions
  • contestants must provide their own water bottles
  • bringing along repair tool kit is strongly recommended

OLIVE ISLAND TRAIL  10 km & 21 km

DATE: 11.05.2019

START: 10:30 h

LOCATION: UGLJAN ISLAND, JAZ BAY, PREKO

LIMIT TRAIL 21 K: 5 h (Limit on Mount St Michel - 3,5 h)

Pick up of start packages at INFO POINT in Caffe bar Lovre, Narodni trg 1, 23000 Zadar. Working hours of the Info point: 09.05. from 14:00-20:00 /10.05. from 8:00-20:00 /11.05. from 8:00-20:00

In order to pick up the start package one has to have some form of ID. You can pick up other person's start package only with her/his ID. Picking up the start package outside of the working hours is not possible .

Content of the start package : race number, dry fit ZOF T-shirt, bag for wardrobe, drink, sponsor's gifts, free drink voucher at Guma bar.

Competitors have to have all necessary equipment:

1. A cell phone with charged batteries and a cell phone number registered in the application form

2. First aid kit (bandage, gauze, patches)

3. Water 1,5 l

Competitors have to carry start number durign the entire race, on chest or stomach area.

Competitors will in addition have control leaflet with control points – control points have to be perforated on foreseen points. 

FINISH LOCATION IS SAME AS START – JAZ BAY, BY VILE DALMACIJA.

When exiting the ferry turn right towards center of Preko village; you have 20 min easy walk by the sea in order to reach the START. 

Ferry from gaženica port to Preko starts at 7:30 / 8:30 / 9:30

Boat from Zadar old town to Preko starts at 7:35 / 9:30

We have organized free shuttle with Liburnija buses from the main city station to Gaženica in order for you to arrive in time for the race

Jadrolinija grants a 30% discount to all participants of the Zadar Outdoor Festival who participate on the trail on Saturday. This discount will be possible by presenting the festival bracelet.

SEA ORGAN – SWIMMING MARATHON

RULES: Swimmers are allowed to perform in swimsuits prescribed and allowed from FINA (FINA APPROVED) and triathlon (neoprene) suits!

The TRACK is 1501 m long, and it is held on the Zadar waterfront, Obala Petra Krešimira -  displayed on this link: https://zadaroutdoor.com/hr/morske-orgulje-plivacki-maraton

 The track is of a triangular shape length of 750.1 m, swimming in 2 (two) circles. 

The START is from the Sea organ (in the level of the waterfront), going ropposite the clock direction, the further track marked with buoys. Left shoulder is passing next to the buoy. The FINISH is on the Sea Organ along the waterfront, marked with a door and a large FINISH tag.  When entering the FINISH one needs to touch  the FINISH mark which is located 50 cm above the water.

Competition is held in sea water, regularly controlled by the competent health services.

KAYAK RACE – JAZINE BAY

DATE: 11.05.2019

START: 12:00 h

LOCATION: JAZINE BAY, pier by restaurant Harbor

Pick up of the starting packages is at INFO POINT in Caffe bar Lovre, People's Square 1, 23000 Zadar. Opening hours of Info point is: 09.05. from 14:00-20:00/10.05. from 8:00-20:00/11.05. from 8:00-20:00/12.05. from 8:00 to 12:00

All participants are kindly requested to come to the start latest half an hour before the race

Boards & Paddles  

I don't have a board - Surfmania team will ensure inflatable boards & paddles for all participants.

I have a board -  This race is exclusively  for inflatable boards max length 12,6''

Refreshment for all participants is ensured  (water, fruits).
